Feature Sheet
The Cable Program Substitution (CPS) software has been
designed to meet the rigorous demands of multi-head-end
cable substitutions. The software consists of two applications.
The first is a server application that holds the list of events and
is located at each head-end. The second application is the
client application that accesses the servers over your LAN or
WAN. Each client can display eight views of eight different
head-ends with the ability to superimpose more than one
head-end on the same view. Grouping of events from
different centres can be easily accomplished so a single
operator can easily control multiple centres. Each server can
communicate with 32 clients simultaneously with security and
user privileges built in. Overall channel views (current status)
of each centre are also provided..
Controls multi-head-ends from one or more
locations.
Directly imports Media Stats files.
Stores thousands of events for each head-end.
Overall channel view for current channel status.
Channel status updated immediately regardless of
how the router was changed.
As-run logging.
Up to eight physical routers for each head-end with
either the same or different formats (analog, IF, HD,
SDI, etc).
Supports up to 8 RGB BNPxr and or Terayon DM-6400
units for ASI/IP switching.
Built-in redundancy if your network fails (events
continue to execute).
MediaStats conversion utilities.
Each client can communicate with eight unique
head-ends simultaneously.
Event views can be filtered based on status, date,
problems, etc.
The server is capable of 32 client applications.
Customizable colors and labels throughout.
Multi-level security and user privileges.
