Flex Ingest
Flex Ingest is a powerful Nexio® Ingest tool designed for mass amounts of tape ingest. With the Flex Ingest software, the operator simply opens the door of the Flexicart™, places a tape on any shelf, closes the door and walks away. Flex Ingest will retrieve the tape information from the tape database, assign and load the tape in the VTR , assign a Nexio® ingest channel, route the VTR to the ingest channel, and finaly cue and start ingesting. Single segment and multiple segments are fully supported. Flex Ingest supports four Sony® Flexicarts running simultaneously with four VTR's in each unit. This configuration will allow for 16 tape ingests to occur simultaneously.
