Automate the Protection of Broadcast Rights
Mobility Blackout
The BCI Mobility Blackout software was designed from the ground up to perform blackouts and alternate program substitution. The software is capable of both manual and automated scheduled switching. Full support of recurring events is supported so a single event can run multiple times thoughout its life. The blackout content can be a transport stream already operating within your facility or it can also be an alternate stream BCI creates (slide show or video) through the Streamer product. Ths Streamer allows for up to 128 unique full motion videos or still images to be substituted over the thousand plus channels the system can manage. In addition, the CAP-1000™ has the ability to store local stills on-board and the Mobility Blackout software can simply switch to these on-board stills. Each of the configured broadcasters can be assigned to a common still or video blackout stream or a unique still or stream used for just that broadcaster. This feature allows for unique branding on a broadcaster-by-broadcaster basis. When switching, the server will perform the switch onto four different hardware platforms with unique parameters on all four. Schedules can be imported from CSV and other formats. Fully automated ingest from your traffic system can also be custom developed for you. The Mobility Blackout software is easy to operate but extremely powerful in functionality. It makes the job of content rights management a snap.
